1. Neutral Color Palette

When choosing fall decor, stick to a muted fall color palette like soft beiges, warm whites, grays, and light browns. Add subtle hints of earthy colors like olive, taupe, or terracotta for depth without overpowering the space.

2. Faux Fall Foliage

Use faux stems of pampas grass, eucalyptus, cotton, or rustic faux leaves in neutral colors. Place them in large glass or ceramic vases for an understated yet elegant fall touch. Here are some faux foliage pieces I have in my home and some that I love!

3. Warm Toned Throw Pillows

Add just a couple of textured throw blankets or pillows in neutral colors to create a cozy atmosphere. I love having throw pillows with covers I can change out. Here are the pillow inserts I use (they are 20×20):

And here are some pillow covers I love that are perfect for subtle fall decor:

In order to have fuller looking pillows, use a larger size insert. I will sometimes use a 22×22 insert with a 20×20 pillow cover.

4. White and Neutral Pumpkins

Decorate with pumpkins in neutral colors like white, cream, or soft grey. If you live near a Trader Joe’s, they have a ton of options in different colors and sizes! Or a classic trip to the pumpkin patch always does the trick!

5. Neutral Candles and Candleholders

Candles are the perfect addition to any fall decor. They add warmth and a soft glow that instantly feels cozy. Here are some cozy fall candles and candle holders!

6. Minimalist Wreaths

Choose simple wreaths made of dried wheat, eucalyptus, or cotton stems. Opt for wreaths in neutral tones, such as light brown, cream, or white, for a soft seasonal statement. Hang it on your front door, over the mantel, or on an interior wall for a touch of fall.

I love fall and am so excited to decorate my home with some of this decor! I hope this helped you find some minimalist fall decor to make your home a little more cozy this season.
