When it comes to a bathroom renovation, or any renovation for that matter, there are so many decisions to be made. The bathroom expansion that I did for the Jeffrey Court All-Star Renovation Challenge was no exception. I had to determine the layout, select tile, design a vanity, pick out hardware…the list felt never ending.
Since I would be putting in a lot of time and energy into this renovation, it was important to select hardware that was not only beautiful, but also well made. That is why I was super excited that I had the opportunity to partner with Pfister Faucets for this project!
Tenet Bath Collection
One of the great things about Pfister Faucets is that you can select one of their collections that not only includes shower and sink faucets, but also all of the accessories you could need for the bathroom. Within each collection, you can customize your trim packages and finishes. The Tenet collection, which is what I chose, is offered in four different finishes (Polished Chrome, Matte Black, Brushed Gold and Brushed Nickel).
When designing this bathroom, I decided to use matte black hardware throughout. This bathroom has a modern feel and I wanted the hardware to represent that as well. Since I decided to tile almost every wall in the bathroom, I wanted to soften it up a bit. The rounded features of the Tenet collection were perfect! It was modern, yet soft.
The accessories I decided to add to the bathroom were the 18″ Towel Bar, Towel Ring and the Robe Hook. I chose to go with the 18″ Towel Bar as opposed to the 24″ Towel Bar based on the size of the bathroom. It is a rather small bathroom and I was afraid that the 24″ Towel Bar would be too large for the wall where I would be hanging it. I love that I had the option to go smaller with the towel bar!
I like having a bath robe handy when I get out of the shower…it’s the little details that make a bathroom complete. I loved the simplicity of the Tenet Robe Hook and decided it would be perfect to hang on the back of the bathroom door! Not only is it functional, it adds a little beauty to the door!
The final accessory that I added to the bathroom was the Towel Ring. This bathroom is located in our main living space. It is the bathroom that guests use when we entertain, therefore, a towel ring was a must! The Tenet Towel Ring was the perfect addition to the shiplap wall!
Tenet Single Control Bathroom Faucet
I have installed my fair share of matte black faucets in our home. The Pfister Tenet Bathroom Faucet is my favorite one I’ve installed yet! I love the sleek design. The spout of the faucet is long enough to keep your hands from touching the bowl while washing, but also not too long to block the sink bowl. The single handle has such smooth operation and just enough resistance making it feel really substantial and high quality.
Installation of the Tenet Faucet was also a breeze. I have installed fixtures that have cheap hardware or the fit and finish was not quite what the pictures imply too many times. That was not the case with the Pfister Tenet Collection! Everything was well packaged, had a perfect consistent finish, and included really high quality hardware for the installation. The only thing that we needed that wasn’t included were new water hoses to install from the valves to the fixture, our existing water hoses were a few inches too short to connect.
Tenet 1-Handle Shower Only Trim
My favorite piece from the Pfister Tenet collection is the rain shower head! Not only is it beautiful, it has good water pressure and flow…which is key!
Our other guest bathroom has a similar shower layout. It has a small walk-in shower with a partial glass wall. The shower head in our other bathroom is directed out from the wall, as opposed to down, and creates a nice little mess outside of shower opening. We do not have that problem with the Tenet Shower Head! The shower head is perfectly spaced off of the wall and keeps the water in the shower. Flow is also even and consistent across the shower head providing a perfect relaxing shower.
Just like the sink faucet, the shower handle has a very smooth operation, making it feel really high quality. The installation of the mixing valve was quick and easy as the directions were very easy to follow. The kit also came with a temporary valve cover that helps you set the valve at the correct depth in the wall based on your finished wall surface and it protects the valve during the tile and mortar installation.
I absolutely love both the beauty and function of the Pfister Tenet collection. Our guest bathroom might just be our favorite bathroom in the house now! I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to partner with Pfister Faucet for this project and look forward to installing their products throughout our home!
