Kreg Measuring Tool

The Kreg Multi-Mark is the perfect measuring tool! The adjustable scale is great for making small and precise measurements. I hate struggling with a measuring tape to make small measurements. The level on it is just an added bonus!

Kreg

Since we’re already talking about Kreg, we might as well continue… Kreg makes some of the best jigs! They have a crown molding jig, shelf pin jig, cabinet hardware jig, the list just goes on. This pocket hole jig is one of the most used tools that I own. Pocket hole jigs are great for making custom table tops, drawers, face frames and so much more!

Miter Clamps

I recently discovered these miter clamps and I wish I would have known about them sooner! These little clamps are perfect for holding mitered (corners that have two 45 degree cuts) corners together while you permanently secure them together. The clamps are removable but very strong at holding corners for glue up or nailing.

I was using my corner clamps, but they have limitations on material thickness and sometimes took too long to get the placement perfect. I highly recommend miter clamps for anyone that makes frames, drawers, boxes, anything with mitered corners!

Contour Gauge

This tool right here is one that I don’t currently have…but would love (hint hint husband). I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to make unique cuts. I usually measure twice, cut once and mess it up five times. This contour gauge allows you to trace the contour of the item you are cutting around, allowing you to make the perfect cut the first time. I really hope this item ends up under my tree!

Right Angle Impact Attachment

I don’t use this tool very often…but when I do need it, I am so glad that I have it! This right angle attachment perfect for getting into those small and awkward spaces. There’s nothing more frustrating than trying to make a screw driver fit where it won’t.

Work Table

I use my WORX table for everything!! It is the perfect height to rest material on while using my miter saw and light enough to carry out of the garage for sanding! The clamps that come with it are an added bonus. This is definitely one of the most used tools (aside from my saws) in my workspace.

Rolling Tool Box

My husband bought me a Packout system for Valentine’s Day…romantic, right?! I thought it was the perfect gift! I got sick of carrying handfuls of tools between our garage and home for every project. This would also be perfect for someone that has to travel with their tools!

The beauty of the Packout system is that there are so many different tool bins that you can purchase and they all snap together! They have coolers, radios, and even a vacuum! This is their basic rolling toolbox, but you can buy more elaborate tool box storage systems too.

Wall Controll Pegboard Organizer

I recently installed a Wall Control pegboard organizer in my garage. Having all of my tools organized and in one accessible spot has been amazing! Since I mostly work in my shop, I love not having to dig through my tool box for the tools that I use most often. Wall Control makes a quality product that is highly customizable. You can pick several different colors and buy all kinds of storage attachments! This is a great little starter Wall Control storage kit.

Bluetooth Jobsite Speaker

Music while working is a must for me! There’s something about blasting my favorite songs that gets me in a productive mood. This 20V bluetooth speaker gets a lot of use in my garage shop and sounds much better than smaller speakers.

Bluetooth Ear Protection

Hearing protection is a must when it comes to working with power tools! Why not get them hearing protection that also allows them to listen to their favorite music while working?! These headphones are so amazing that I actually have two pairs! I love that I can also hear when I get a message or phone call while wearing them. They are the best gift for someone who regluarly have to cut the grass or work with loud equipment.

Work Apron

Most DIY projects tend to be messy. I recently got an apron and have saved my clothes from being added to the “work clothes” pile many times! It’s also perfect for keeping the sawdust off of me when using my saws.

Caulk Finishing Tool

One of the not so fun parts of most home projects is caulking. Caulking usually takes forever and is a messy job. Most people use their finger to achieve the perfect bead…which is what I did until I found this tool. The Homax Perfect Bead Caulk Finisher not only gives you the perfect caulk bead, it will save your fingers! This would make a great little stocking stuffer!

Gator Micro Zip Sander

Another great finishing tool, especially for those that like wood working, is the Gator Micro Zip Sander. This is perfect for sanding all of the small spaces that large sanders can’t reach. The soft grip is so comfortable!
