Scrap Wood Projects That Anyone Can Do

1. DIY Large Serving Tray

During our kitchen renovation I had a small gap in the bottom cabinets that I could have just closed up with trim but decided to add a custom slot with a pull out DIY serving tray. Making a DIY large serving tray can be a fun beginner project. You can customize its shape, size and color.

I chose to use leftover scrap oak but really any type of wood would work!

For a personalized touch, consider attaching stylish leather handles or repurposing drawer handles on the sides. This not only adds functionality but also elevates the aesthetic appeal of your custom-made tray.
